Chocolate cake with caramel filling

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cake flour

  • 1 TBS baking powder

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 cup oil

  • 2 cups hot water

  • 1 cup cocoa/cacau powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Preheat oven to 180°c . line and grease round baking tin
Whisk oil with sugar together
Add eggs one at a time
Add vanilla essence


Mix water with cocoa and set aside till its cool
Sift all the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
Add the cocoa mixture and whisk for 5 mins bake for 40 mins
Let the cake cool and stack it using store bought caramel treat
